We’re looking for ideas to solve California's water and energy future. If you have a product, new company or innovative proposal, you could be selected to make a pitch to hundreds of industry leaders.

 

We want the brightest ideas to encourage water conservation and clean energy. Share your idea outline and presentation link by filling out the form below. The best presenter will have 5 minutes — lightning fast — to pitch their idea to leaders in policy, industry and academia at the SoCal Energy + Water Summit on Oct. 1 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

 

The details:

A panel of judges from The Desert Sun and Burke Rix Communications will select the winning presentations.

 

Submissions should include a link to a presentation uploaded to SlideShare.net. The presentation on SlideShare should have public settings or be viewable with a link.

 

A minimum of five slides is required, but ideas will be judged on quality, not artistic ability.

 

The presentation format may be 20 seconds for 20 slides, such as PechaKucha, or the slides may simply help illustrate key points. Presentations can be no longer than 5 minutes and as short as 3.

 

Judges may require a transcript, outline or further details.

 

Winning presenters will receive complimentary registration for the Summit and opening night Green Consumer Expo & Welcome Reception.

 

Winners will be interviewed by The Desert Sun.
